Delivery

It's a small world and we're delighted to have customers in far-reaching places. We can ship to most destinations as well as British and American Forces Post Office (BFPO and APO) addresses.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

  • United Kingdom – free next day delivery for mainland UK addresses
  • Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland addresses – free postage by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
  • BFPO Addresses – free postage by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
  • United States & Canada £15 (remote areas for Canada shipments will be made by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For service)
  • Europe (EU and Non EU member States) £12
  • Rest of the World £20

All shipments will require a signature on delivery, so please ensure you request your purchase be sent to an address where someone is available to accept delivery.

We use a courier service for all of our shipments. On some occasions, it is not always possible to use a courier for our shipments (for the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and certain parts of Europe and the rest of the world). For these deliveries, we will use the Royal Mail. All postal services are fully trackable.

Deliveries within mainland UK are next day by courier. Your item will be shipped the next working day after you have made your purchase. There are no weekend shipments.

  • Shipments to the US and most parts of Canada are sent by FedEx and take approximately 1-3 days.
  • Shipments to most parts of Europe are sent by FedEx and take approximately 3-5 days.
  • Shipments to other worldwide destinations are sent by Royal Mail and take approximately 7-10 days

What if I'm not in to take my delivery?

If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the courier will leave a card saying they have called. A redelivery attempt is usually made for the next working day. Alternatively, you can contact the courier directly to rearrange delivery or a local pick up. Please note that we are not able to give the couriers specific delivery instructions.

Returns Policy

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase from The Leather Store. If, however, your new handbag isn't suitable, you can return it for a full refund.

To begin the refund process, simply log in to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.

All that we ask is that your bag is returned in its original and unused condition.  Please note that we do not refund items that have been used. The item should be returned in its original (or similar) box to ensure that it is protected and arrives back in perfect condition.  We would ask that items are not returned in padded envelopes or folded as they need to reach us undamaged and in a resalable condition.

All items should be returned within 28 days of receipt. Please ensure that a copy of the order note is enclosed with the package, so that we can trace your details and ensure that there are no delays in processing your refund.

We would recommend that you return your item by Recorded Delivery as we cannot be held responsible for any lost packages.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. Please allow up to 7 days for your return to be processed.

Postage costs are not refunded.

OVERSEAS RETURNS

If you are returning your item from outside of the UK and European Union, please contact info@theleatherstoreuk.com so we can provide the return instructions based on your country.  Please note that postage costs are not refunded and we do not provide returns labels.
