Shipping & Returns

WHERE TO WE SHIP?
It's a small world and we're delighted to have customers in far-reaching places. We ship to most destinations as well as British and American Forces BFPO and APO addresses.  We can ship to residential and business addresses, but we cannot ship to P O Box numbers. 

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

United Kingdom
Shipments within the United Kingdom, including the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland, are free by Royal Mail 24/48 service

United States and Canada
Shipments to the USA and Canada* are £15 per order by Fedex Priority.  You can expect to receive your package within 1-3 days.  *Shipments to remote areas of Canada where Fedex do not ship will be made with Royal Mail International Tracked service.  Smaller items such as coin purses will be shipped by Royal Mail.

Europe
Shipments to Europe are £12 per order by Fedex. You can expect to receive your package within 3-5 days. Smaller items such as coin purses will be shipped by Royal Mail.

Rest of The World
Shipments to the Rest of The World are £20 per order by Royal Mail International. You can expect to receive your package within 7-28 days depending on your location and local postal services

 

SHIPPING SERVICES
When your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping notification and tracking number.  All shipments will require a signature on delivery (due to Coronavirus, many couriers will now take photographs instead of signatures), so please ensure that you will be available at your requested shipping address to receive your package.

What if I'm not in to take my delivery?
If you're not in at the time of your deliver, the courier will leave a card.  You must contact the courier to arrange a redelivery.  You must track your package until it's safely delivery to you.  If your package has been sent by Fedex you must contact us if you have not received your package within 7 days.  The Leather Store is not responsible for uncollected packages or packages that are refused delivery by the customer.

TAXES & DUTIES
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We strongly advise that you check with your own authorities what duties and taxes are likely to be charged.  In addition to taxes and duties, couriers may also charge a handling fee to process your shipment. 

The Leather Store is not responsible for payment of taxes, duties and courier handling charges.

U.S Customers
There are no import duties and taxes to pay on orders with a value of less than US $800

Australia
There are no import duties and taxes to pay on orders with a value of less than AUD $800

EU and Other International Customers
Other international customers, including those in the European Union (EU), may be subject to import fees and taxes.  These are NOT included in the item price and must be paid by the customer.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase.  If you need to return an item, you have 28 days from the date you received your order.  Any returned items must be in their original, unused condition with security tags attachedThe item should be returned flat, in its original (or similar) box to ensure that it is protected and arrives back in perfect condition.  Please do not return your item in padded envelope or fold your item as this could cause damage.

To begin the refund process, simply log in to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.

Please ensure that a copy of your order or a note with your name and order details are enclosed with the package.

The Leather Store does not cover the cost of return postage for unwanted items.

We would recommend that you return your item by a trackable postal service.  The Leather Store is not responsible for any lost packages.

All refunds are processed within 7 working days, this make take longer during our busy periods.  You will be notified once your refund has been processed.  Refunds are not processed on evenings and weekends when our office is closed.

Postage costs are not refunded.

If you wish to exchange, once your refund has been processed, you can make your new order in the usual way.

OVERSEAS RETURNS
If you are returning your item from outside of the UK and European Union, please contact info@theleatherstoreuk.com so we can provide the specific return instructions based on your country.  Please note that postage costs are not refunded and we do not provide returns labels.
